My name is Sara Jane and I am so happy you stopped by!
My love for all things beauty started behind the makeup counter about 10 years ago. I worked at several different makeup companies, including Bare Essentials, Estée Lauder, and Bobbi Brown. While I was behind the makeup counter I enrolled at the Aveda Institute in Jacksonville, Florida. It was there that I met my mentors and my love for styling was cultivated.
I graduated from the Aveda Institute in 2013 and started immediately working with brides, and over the years have indeed found my passion.
In 2017 I was named Modern Salon's top 100 game changers and was a Behind The Chair “One Shot” nominee for the best braid shot of the year.
In 2018 I won 1st place in Pravana’s “Show Us Your Vivids” contest, and the 2019 “Styling and Finishing” NAHA winner.
Sometimes I feel like I need to pinch myself because I get to do what I love every day. If you love messy braids and lots of texture then I might just be the stylist for you!
